Refund policy

At TAJ Jewelry, we want you to love your piece. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to help - within the policy below.

1) Return Window (Strict)

You may request a return, exchange, or refund within 3 days of delivery.
Requests made after 3 days will not be approved.

To start a request, you must email us at [support@tajjewelry.com] within the 3-day window with:

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you’re requesting to return/exchange

  • A short explanation of why you’re requesting the return/refund

2) Condition of Items (“As Is” Requirement)

To qualify for a return/exchange/refund, the product must be returned:

  • As is / in original condition

  • Unworn and unused

  • Free of damage, scratches, odors, alterations, or signs of use

  • In original packaging (box/pouch) and any included components

If an item shows signs of wear or is not returned in acceptable condition, we may deny the request or issue a partial refund at our discretion.

Hygiene note (especially for earrings): For hygiene and customer safety, we reserve the right to refuse returns/exchanges for items that show any signs of wear.

3) Refunds

If your refund is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable

  • Refund processing time is typically 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the return (timing may vary by bank/payment provider)

4) Exchanges

Exchanges are available within the same 3-day window and subject to:

  • Item availability

  • The returned item meeting the condition requirements

If the replacement item has a different price, we will either:

  • Invoice the difference, or

  • Refund the difference, depending on the situation.

5) Return Shipping

  • Unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective item), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we can’t be responsible for items lost in transit.

6) Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, email us within 3 days of delivery at [support@tajjewelry.com] with:

  • Order number

  • Clear photos/video of the issue and packaging

We will review and provide the best resolution (replacement, exchange, or refund).

7) Items Not Eligible (Optional but common)

Unless required by law, we may not accept returns for:

  • Final sale/clearance items (if marked as such)

  • Gift cards

  • Items returned outside the 3-day window

8) How to Start a Return/Exchange/Refund

Email [support@tajjewelry.com] with your order number and reason within 3 days.
If approved, we will provide return instructions.
